How to use Trillian`s Firefox links with windows Vista

Windows Vista is set to use for every application Internet Explorer.

When you install Firefox, at your first run of the program, you will be asked if you wish to use it as the default browser for opening any kind of internet pages.

You naturally check that box and assume every application you will install from now on will open your pages using Mozila Firefox. But you are wrong.

Vista is stubborn and when installing an application such a Trillian, it will keep opening your internet pages using iexplore.
After trying everything is windows, you just give up, like it did, until I decided to open trillian’s preferences as well. Well, here, under Text Conversations` Tab you can fix the problem.

Under Miscellaneous Option, the last option causes the problem. Just uncheck it and you will be ok.

From now on, everything you click on when using Trillian will be opened with Firefox instead of iexplore.
