Step:1 Clean Junk Files
Open My Computer >> Right "C" drive >> Properties
Click on Disc Clean Up >> Select all options found
Next >> Delete All >> Finish
This will delete all junk files not required, thereby providing more disc space, improving browsing speed & System performance
Step:3 Prefetch
Click on start Button >> Click on Run Button
Type prefetch in the open space
It will open the window having prefetch files
Select all the prefetch files and then Delete them.
Step:4 Restore Defaults

Click Internet Options >> Click on Advanced
Click Restore Defaults >> Click Apply >> Click OK
Step:5 Download
Download the IE8 Setup from the Internet

Advance Steps to uninstall Internet Explorer 8, Please follow these steps:
Carefully select and then copy the following command:
FORFILES /P %WINDIR%\servicing\Packages /M Microsoft-Windows- InternetExplorer-8*.mum /c "cmd /c echo Uninstalling package @fname && start /w pkgmgr /up:@fname /norestart"
Click Start Button >> Click Search >> Type Cmd.exe in the open space.
From the list of programs >> right-click Cmd.exe >> and then click Run as administrator.
Note: If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password if there is any, or click Continue.
Right-click inside the Administrator: Command Prompt window >> and then click Paste to paste the command that you copied in step 1.
Press ENTER to uninstall Internet Explorer 8.
